Five Easy Home Exercise Ideas
For those with busy schedules, it can be hard to find time to go to the gym. However, there are ways to get in your daily workout at home without having to drive somewhere and you may find it easier to get into your workout without worrying about others around you.
1. Yoga
Yoga is one of those exercises that you can do anywhere. As long as you have a mat and an understanding of the poses, you can go through your routine at home or anywhere else you see fit. While yoga classes with an instructor are helpful, the internet has plenty of resources at your disposal that you can follow as you go through your routine. Because yoga emphasizes the importance of meditation and relaxation, your own home is the perfect place to practice peacefulness.
Popular yoga poses to master:
Downward Facing dog
Triangle
Tree
Bridge
Plank
Half Moon
2. Hand Weights
Hand weights are a convenient tool to have in your home that don’t take up a lot of space the same way other exercise equipment would. Hand weights add an extra umph to your exercise routine. For example, if you typically do lunges, push-ups, or sit-ups, you can easily incorporate hand weights into the mix in order to achieve a well-rounded workout that targets multiple areas of your body
Exercises perfect for hand weights:
Walking: as you walk, curl your hand weights and you would if you were stationary, alternating hands
Lunges: Same movements as if you were walking
Sit-ups: Gain more muscle by holding your weights in front of your chest as you lift your torso up to your knees in a sit-up
Push-ups: Have a weight in each hand and alternate bringing the weight up to your chest between each push-up

Like dancing, this is another way to utilize what you already have at home to get in some cardio without having to worry about taking a trip to the gym.
5. Jump Rope
